Many types of snakes exist in the world. Whose poison proves dangerous for humans. People often lose sight of snakes. On hearing his name, people's souls tremble. Because snakes are considered one of the most dangerous creatures on Earth. Although 2500-3000 species of snakes are found in the world, only a few of them are poisonous snakes. Only 69 species of poisonous snakes are known in India, out of which 29 are sea snakes and 40 are terrestrial i.e., land-dwelling snakes. But today we are going to tell you about such a snake, which can produce children without making any relation. After many years of research on this species of snake, it has been revealed how this can happen.

During a study, it has been found that some female snakes living in the forest give birth to children without having any relation with any male snake. Researchers have studied the pit viper of North America and the species of copperhead snake found in Connecticut. According to this research, the female snake of Boa species can give birth to children without mating with the male snake. Female snakes of this species have the asexual reproductive capacity.

In the world of science, asexual reproduction is called facultative parthenogenesis. In this process, eggs are formed in the female uterus without any male sperm. However, such a process is rarely observed in these animals. However, two Z chromosomes are found in male snakes while one Z chromosome and one WZ chromosome are found in female snakes. But all the female snakes born asexual reproduction have been found to have WW chromosomes.
