Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He was born in a teacher's family. According to an official website of the Government of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was a student of political science and law, started his career as a journalist. Atal Bihari took his first step in Indian politics in 1942 during the Quit India Movement,  after which he moved fast in this direction.

Among the people, Atal Bihari is known for his political commitment, Atal Ji is said to have impressed the people with his speeches while leading India in multilateral and bilateral forums. Atal Ji distanced himself from journalism after becoming a part of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1951. He had maintained his supremacy for four decades as a senior MP. He was elected to the Lok Sabha nine times and twice in the Rajya Sabha. Atal Bihari Vajpayee always strived to advance India as a visionary, developed, strong and prosperous nation among all other nations.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been the Prime Minister of the country three times. Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister for the first time in 1996, but could not complete his term, for the second time in 1998, he became the Prime Minister again, but this time also the term could not be completed. After this, he became the Prime Minister for the third time in 1999 and completed his term by ruling the country till 2004. Atalji did many works for the basic needs of society, besides he also took steps for the empowerment of women and social equality.
