Ram Navami is a spring Hindu festival celebrated on the birthday of Lord Rama. This year we are going to observe this day on March 25th.
As we all know significance Rama Navami Puja holds an important place in Hindus religion. It is necessary to perform the puja in a proper way, here are the steps, let's have a look.

• First place the idol of Lord Rama in your puja room along with Mata Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. It is believed that Lord Rama is not complete without these.
• Always perform the puja in the noon.
• Before performing the puja, call Lord Ganesha to remove all the obstacles from the puja by saying “O Lord Ganesha! Please come and remove all obstacles in Lord Rama puja!”
• The idol of Lord Rama should be offered flowers, sweets, light
diyas and incense sticks.

• The offering of tulsi leaves and fruits are also recommended.
• Once the offering is done, sprinkle holy water,
roli, kumkum and rice on the deities and lit the diyas.
• Now chant the mantra “Shri Sita Lakshman Bharat Shatrughna Hanumat Sametaya Shri Ramaya Namah”.
• After this mantra, chant the Lord Rama mantra “Om Ramayee Namah” 108 times.
• Once the chanting is complete do the
visarjan of Rama Navami puja by offering flowers to the idols and say “I am very thankful that you came to our place of puja. Please receive these offerings and reside again in your divine places.”

• At last, perform aarti and recite Rama bhajan. All your family members should be present while performing aarti.
• Offer prasad to everyone.
