Veteran Bollywood actor Viju Khote, popularly known as Kalia in Bollywood, was born on this day. Viju Khote was born on December 17, 1941, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has always been in the discussion about his character in his movie  Sholay. 

But Viju Khote was battling a serious illness for a long time, after which he died in 2019. He took his last breath in his Mumbai home and said goodbye to this world forever. Since then, all his fans were in grief.  His dialogue from the film Sholay, Sardar Maine Aapka Namak Khaya Hai, is very popular among everyone. He won everyone's hearts in Hindi cinema with his acting. Viju Khote was associated with the film world since 1964.

He has done about 300 Hindi and Marathi films in his film career. Viju Khote has an important contribution in films like Andaz Apna Apna, Beta Ho Toh Aisa, Aashiq Awara, Karz Badana Hai, Afsana Pyaar Ka, Benam Badshah, Kafan, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Karz, Sholay, Mela, Aag, Khiladi 420, and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (Web Series).
