New Delhi: The Government of India has announced the name of the new Air Chief. The government has decided that Air Marshal VR Chaudhary will take over as airforce chief from October 1. Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria is retiring on September 30. In view of which the Government has taken this decision. Tell you that VR Chaudhary will be the 27th Air Force Chief of the country. Air Marshal Chaudhary is currently posted as Deputy Chief of the Air Force.

Air Marshal VR Chaudhary will take over as the 27th Air Chief of the country on October 1, 2021. He had earlier taken over as deputy chief of the air force on July 1. Air Marshal Chaudhary, a student of the National Defence Academy (NDA), joined the Combat Branch of the Indian Air Force on December 29, 1982. VR Chaudhary was posted as commander-in-chief of western air command (WAC) before becoming deputy chief of the Air Force. State that the Western Air Command protects the Indian air sector in the sensitive Ladakh region as well as in other parts of North India.

Tell you that VR Chaudhary has so far invested nearly 38 years of his life in India's security. In this distinguished career, he has flown several major fighter and coach aircraft in the Indian Air Force.
