UK star tennis player Andy Murray has pulled out of the third-place play-off match at the Brits exhibition tournament. Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) gave its information on Sunday. LTA stated on its website, "Andy Murray has dropped from the third place playoff match with Cameron Norrie. He will now be replaced by James Ward."
Former world number-1 player Andy Murray was returning to tennis from this charity tournament after being away from the court for seven months due to injury. This tournament is organized by his brother Jamie.
The 33-year-old Murray played four matches during the last five days. During this time he had defeated Liam Brody and Ward, but on Saturday he lost to Dan Evans in the semi-finals. Three-time Olympic champion Murray recently said that Novak Djokovic's Adria Tour has brought tennis into disrepute due to the lack of social distance rules.
