Dantewada: In Dantewada, the Naxal-hit district of Chhattisgarh, security forces personnel are learning their language to talk to tribals. The gondi dialect of security forces has begun in this district of the southern region of the province. Officials in Dantewada district, one of the Dhur Naxal affected districts of the state, say that learning the dialect of the tribals will help them in the anti-naxal operations where they will be able to move near them and develop in the area.

That is why the security forces are learning the local Gondi dialect these days. Dantewada district Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallav has said that Gondi-speaking tribals live in large parts of Bastar region. The jawans posted here are unaware of this bid. Because of this, sometimes, they have to face the Dikars. In view of this, it has been decided to educate the security forces in the district in Gondi dialect.
Pallav said that the state is mainly spoken in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi language. The jawans posted in Dantewada district can speak mostly Hindi and Chhattisgarhi language. If they get preliminary information about the Gondi bid, it will make it easier to work in the field. At the same time, it will be of great help in the campaign against Naxalites also.
