Kerala is currently undergoing a flood tragedy. Every time everyone is trying to help the flood victims at every time. At the same time, PayTm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma has also made a small effort according to Twitter users.

He donated Rs 10,000 in chief minister disaster relief fund. Sharing a screenshot of Twitter, he asked others to do the same. Because of which people started trolling him.

Many Twitter users have started to criticise him. However, there were some who supported Sharma. According to him, 10 thousand rupees is the largest amount sent through a mobile wallet or Paytm. The user named Chaddilectual, said, "10 thousand rupees from the billionaire? Not a bad way to publicize an app. Especially to mention the Paytm app?" He should not follow cheap capitalism and asked him to use any other medium except this way.

Meanwhile, Paytm wrote on Twitter, "We are very proud that within 48 hours, we have collected more than 100 million rupees for the flood victims of Kerala through 4 lakh Paytm users." Replying to this, a user named Prem Babel wrote, "You got more than your donated amount. Good business strategy." Himika Choudhari said, "It is very easy to use your brand for a disaster. Vijay Shekhar should be ashamed of himself."

Well, this is not the first time that Sharma's name has come into the controversy over donations. In December last year, Sharma shared a screenshot of Twitter on social media to donate the Indian Armed Forces. He donated 501 rupees. Because of which people had trolled them a lot.The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had stressed on the cashless economy and because of this, PayTm had a got a great advantage.
