Kodak launches smart HD TVs in India at Rs.13,500

Kodak has launched its HD TV series in India in partnership with Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL), a Noida-based company. Kodak has 5 new TVs in its HD LED TV series starting at Rs 13,500.

Kodak's LED TVs will be on sale starting August 15. While the 32-inch TV will be available exclusively on Shopclueds ,the 40-inch and 50-inch models will be available on both Amazon and Flipkart .

The standard variants of both 32-inch and 40-inch TVs come with built-in games and have panels from Samsung. The smart TVs (all three screen sizes) have Wi-Fi support and are powered by ARM Cortex A7 processors coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

Offering Air Mouse support, the TVs run Android 4.4 KitKat. The TVs come with wide viewing angles and also have features like progressive scan, yPbPr colour space and a response time of less than 8ms. For connectivity, Kodak's LED TVs come with HDMI, USB and VGA support.
