New Delhi: The countdown to the Indian Premier League (IPL) has already begun with all teams focusing on their practice. Kolkata Knight Riders, captained by Dinesh Karthik, will try to win the title for the third time. The Kolkata team will depend on Andre Russell, as he can make the team victorious with both bowling and batting.

Andre Russell is a very dangerous batsman, it's not hidden from anyone. Bowlers are afraid to bowl to him, not only that, his team players themselves don't want to bowl him in the nets. Kolkata Knight Riders' Siddhesh Lad has said that he does not want to bowl West Indies batsman Andre Russell even in the nets.  Lad said he would think he would be much better off batting and facing Jasprit Bumrah instead of bowling Andre Russell in the nets.

"I'll never have to bowl Russell in the nets," Lad said. Lad said "he has faced Bumrah in nets practice during domestic matches. So I know what can happen". Lad said "He has seen how dangerous Russell is. He has never bowled Russell". Lad bowls part-time off-spin along with the batsman.
