New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty is being questioned by maniktala police in a virtual manner on his birthday today. He is being questioned since around 10:05 am and police are recording statements. The inquiry is being conducted on controversial statements made by Mithun Chakraborty during the BJP election rally.

It may be recalled that actor Mithun Chakraborty had suppressed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the first week of March before the West Bengal assembly elections. Chakraborty had joined the BJP at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata. During this time, he spoke many of his famous dialogues, shouting from the stage. He said I'm cobra. If someone snatches away the right, I'll stand up.

Meanwhile, Mithun Chakraborty had also spoken his famous dialogue 'Will hit you here and the body will land in the crematorium' from the dais. He then said that this dialogue is out of date, and now the new dialogue is 'I am not a water snake, I am a cobra. The bite will complete the work.' Mithun Chakraborty had also said that "I am not even a Jooldhara snake, not even a Bellebora snake, I am a cobra. I will finish the work in one bite."
