Korea Super Series: P.V. Sindhu, the silver medalist at the Rio Olympics 2016 winner will play against Nitachaon Jindapol of Thailand in the second round of Korea badminton series which is going to be held today in Seoul, South Korea.

P. V. Sindhu really made the country proud by winning the silver medal with her pair Ngan Yi Cheung who hails from Hong Kong with the victory points of 21-13, 21-8 in the opening round of the women's singles event that lasted just 29 minutes.

On the other hand, Parupalli Kashyap, Sai Praneeth, and Sameer Verma will show their moves in second round matches in the men's singles.

Kashyap defeated Chinese Taipei's Hsu Jen Hao by 21-13,21-16.

However, Sindhu was awarded fourth highest civilian honour, Padma Shri in March 2015 and was conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, the highest sporting honour in India in 2016.
