Thousands of South Korean health workers walked out of the hospital on Wednesday despite instructions to return to the hospital and resume work. According to foreign media, some services were disrupted in the country's large clinics. Doctors and other health workers have announced a three-day strike against the government's plan to change the health care education system. Due to this strike, surgery was delayed in many hospitals and clinics and the time limit had to be reduced.

South Korea's Health Minister Park Nung Hoo said that at 8 am, the government ordered trainee doctors and their associates to return to work at hospitals in Gyeonggi Province and Incheon, Seoul. According to the ministry, those who disobey this order, their medical licenses will be cancelled and they will be put in jail for 3 years. Apart from this, damages will also be imposed.

An agreement was signed between the country's medical industry and the government regarding the corona crisis, after which doctors and other health workers in the country have gone on strike. In fact, this agreement was rejected by the Korean Intern and Resident Association. The strike has been organized for the second time by the Korean Medical Association.

There are a total of 1 lakh 30 thousand members, including interns and resident doctors of general hospitals. It also has practitioners from nearby clinics. South Korean President Moon Jae-in followed strict precautions and regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection in the country. According to official figures, 312 people have died due to this disease so far, and the number of cases of total infection in the country so far is more than 18 thousand.
