Kothagudem: Kothagudem MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao while addressing the media at his camp office on Friday said that door-to-door survey will be conducted for distribution of regulatory house pattas in Coal Town. 10 teams have been deployed to survey the eligible people for getting Patta. He said that the corporation officials have deputed five more teams to expedite the survey. Patta distribution work will be completed before Diwali.

The MLA also pointed out that the government has already issued regulatory leases to 6,400 members under GO number 373, and added that the government has issued special GO number 76 for people who build their houses since 2014. The long pending issue of Patta distribution was being resolved by the TRS government, he said. Vanma appealed to the people to cooperate with the officers and staff conducting the survey.

He cautioned people not to trust the touts, who promise to get the leases cleared. During the press conference, MLA Vanma distributed checks of Kalyanalakshmi to eight beneficiaries. Revenue Divisional Officer Swarna Lata, Muncipal President Sita Mahalakshmi, Vice President Damodar, Tehsildar Ramakrishna, Deputy Registrar Ramkumar and other officials participated in the press conference.
