Jammu: Akash Mehra, son of Rasmish Kumar Mehra, the owner of Krishna Dhaba, who was shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, died on Sunday morning. On the night of 17 February, the terrorists shot at the sky. He was undergoing treatment. The terrorists were shot in his chest, due to which his condition remained critical. Krishna Dhaba is located in the Durganag area. This dhaba is very famous for serving vegetarian food. There are many high-profile institutions around the dhaba in this area. Among them, the Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir, the UN Military Observers Group for India and Pakistan is present in the office.
Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah expressed condolences on the incident. He said that he was very sad to hear about the death of Akash Mehra. He lost while fighting a hard battle against life. May his soul rest in peace and in this hour of crisis, his family and close friends get the strength to suffer.
PDP chief and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti have also expressed grief over the death of Akash Mehra. She said that I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of the death of Akash Mehra, who runs Krishna Dhaba. May his soul rest in peace, my condolences to the family in their hour of grief. In this case, on February 19, IGP Vijay Kumar of Kashmir told during the Kashmir press conference that the arrested terrorists were identified as Suhail Ahmad Mir, resident of Dangerpora Nowgam, Owais Manzoor Sofi, resident of Dangerpora and Vilayat Aziz Mir, a resident of Hanipora Wanpora Pulwama.
