HYDERABAD: Both the Krishna and Godavari rivers are continue to be in spate, with Godavari from Kaleshwaram and downwards. At Bhadrachalam, the second alert level is in effect due to the Godavari's 51-foot flood level and 13-lakh-cusec discharge.

At Bhadrachalam in Telangana, the Godavari continued to climb in level, flooding low-lying villages and cutting off the road link in a few locations.

HYDERABAD: At Bhadrachalam, the river kept flowing above the second danger mark. At Bhadrachalam, the water level was 51.6 feet on Thursday morning, and the river flow was 13.49 cusecs.

To discharge the water downstream, the irrigation officials also raised 10 of Nagarjuna Sagar's crest gates by 10 feet. Sagar received 2.37 lakh cusecs of input. Nagarjuna Sagar now has a water level of 587.80 feet as opposed to a complete reservoir level of 590 feet.
