KRV marries off Goat, Sheep to support Valentine’s Day

Karnataka: On the occasion of Love-day Karnataka Rakshana Vedike organizes marriage of goat and sheep in Bengaluru as a mark of support to Valentine’s Day.

In favor of  Valentine’s Day, Kannada activist Vatal Nagara said, "We should not object to Valentine’s Day because love does not have any community or caste. Central government should declare the one-day holiday for love. State govt should give Rs 50,000 to 1 lakh to any couple who marry for love," Vatal Nagaraj, Chief of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike told ANI.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV), translated as Karnataka Protection Forum, is an organization located in the state of Karnataka, India. The organization has more than 6 million (as of 2012) members enrolled from around the world spanning to about 12,000 branches across Karnataka in all 30 districts.

Meanwhile in Chennai Anti-Valentine group, workers of the Bharat Hindu Front made official "marriage" between a dog and a donkey as a staging a protest against Valentine’s Day.

In Ahmedabad, 'Moral police' turned out in full force in various parts of India against the celebration of Love- birds’ Day on Wednesday.  As per report of Times Now self-proclaimed 'moral police' chased couples Members of the Bajrang Dal harassed couples at the city's Sabarmati Riverfront also reported ANI.In a while they were under arrested.

The saffron group also staged protests against Valentine's Day in Hyderabad.
