HYDERABAD: TRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao lashed out at the BJP-led Central government on Sunday, accusing it of being "reluctant to support Telangana" on most issues and "selling away the country's assets" to private actors.

Rama Rao labelled the BJP the "Becho Janata ki Property" party, named BJP president J.P. Nadda a "relative of Satya Harishchandra," and slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over rising cooking gas costs during an hour-and-a-half AskKTR open session on Twitter.

"Modi hain to mumkin hain," Rao said in response to a question on rising LPG gas cylinder costs, continuing the bitter political rhetoric between the BJP and the TRS in recent weeks. Greetings from #AchheDin (sic)." "Modi ji is unstoppable," he said in response to another question about fuel prices. He'll make certain that we're the best in the world." The issue  of rising fuel prices and state and federal taxation has been a source of contention between the two parties for some time.

The Mission Bhagiratha project, Rama Rao said, is a "game-changer" for millions of people in Telangana, adding that the K. Chandrashekar Rao-led TRS administration is putting a lot of money into improving healthcare in the state.
On another topic, Rama Rao stated that he supports the "hybrid work-from-home paradigm." "It is the obligation of citizens to observe rules," he said, urging people to obey traffic laws. The police can enforce, but only our collective will to improve will assist."

"This Union government is only good at selling PSUs under the 'Becho India' concept," Rama Rao said when asked about the state of the Cotton Corporation of India headquarters in Adilabad. Our requests to reopen CCI have been ignored."
