HYDERABAD: KT Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, saying, "Thank you Modiji for Acche Din."

KTR also shared old tweets  of Modi from his time as Gujarat's chief minister. On May 23, 2012, Modi tweeted that the significant increase in petrol prices was a prime evidence of the Congress-led UPA government's failure.

'Since we formed the government, petrol and diesel costs have come down,' the Prime Minister declared in another tweet in October 2014. We are devoted to addressing the barriers that our country faces.'

The TRS leader, who is also a state cabinet minister, also reminded Modi of prior statements made while the latter was in opposition. "Modiji, I'm reiterating some of your previous statements. Failure of the Union government, burden on states, power arrogance, indifference to the needs of the poor "According to KTR.

KTR also replied to the Union government's advertisement for the Jal Jeevan Mission-Har Ghar Jal. He requested the Prime Minister to inform the people of Telangana about the amount of the Union government's contribution to the Telangana government's Mission Bhagiratha scheme, which aims to provide drinking water to every family.
