The love birds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt went on a vacation to Europe where the two of them spent some quality time together. There were rumours of them tying a knot in a destination wedding started doing rounds. Speculations suggested that they went to a Euro trip only to zero in a destination for their lavish wedding.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Alia rubbished these rumours and said, “Kuch bhi!!! This is rubbish. It was just a holiday. Just like that... People say what they want to”.

India Today quoted a source close to the couple as saying that the wedding is not on the cards right now. He added, “Neither Ranbir-Alia nor Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora are likely to tie the knot in 2019.”

Last week, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan also addressed the wedding rumours of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and said that her daughter is too young to take a decision that will last the lifetime. She said, "As a mother, I want to see her happy. At the same time, I also would give her word of caution. She is too young to rush into any lifetime decision. While personally, I believe that when you find the right man to get married, you should get married without delaying too much. But that does not mean, you have to get married in a hurry... You have to draw a fine line while taking a decision.”

On the workfront, Alia and Ranbir are together for a year now and the two will be sharing screen space as well in Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra.
