Kumkum Bhagya actress Shabbir Ahluwalia has impressed the audience with her performance in the show. The show has been showcasing some twists and turns of late with a new track of post generation leap. since 18 March 2019, a twenty-year leap was introduced in the show and Pragya and Abhi were shown as a separated couple. Their twin daughters Prachi and Rhea's roles are being portrayed by Mugdha Chapekar and Naina Singh. And now, according to the report, Mugdha's Prithviraj Chauhan co-star Rajat Tokas will soon enter the show and he will be seen opposite her.

Earlier, Rajat and Mugdha together worked way back in 2006 in Prithviraj Chauhan and their chemistry as Prithviraj and Sanyogita was loved by the audience.

Rajat was last seen in the Colors’ show Naagin 3. In the supernatural series, he played the role of wishful serpent Vikrant and was seen alongside Anita Hassanandani and Surbhi Jyoti. The actor is also best known for his roles as Akbar in Zee TV's historical romance series Jodha Akbar and as Chandragupta Maurya in Chandra Nandini.
