R. Ashwin led Kings XI Punjab is performing very well in the current season of IPL.  The team claimed victory in three matches out of four and are in the third spot in the IPL table with six points. In their last match against Delhi Capitals, KXIP snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat. Victory against Delhi Capitals in last match was a morale-boosting win for the Punjab franchise as they showed character in an adverse situation. And even their middle-order batsman David Miller agrees that the DC victory was massive for them.

Millar told Hindustan Times, “It was a massive win for us. It is all about confidence and momentum and how we have played against RCB and Rajasthan (Royals) was quite impressive. Those were very important and it has been good for the team as well to win those two matches on the trot.”

Miller also thinks that a brilliant team effort has led to KXIP winning three matches at the start of the season.

Millar further explained, “It is very hard to point out any one thing but I can say that everyone has carried out their roles properly and at this moment, we have a really happy dressing room.”

KXIP will lock horns with the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday as they look to continue their good start to the tournament.
