The most awaited movies of the year Laal Singh Chaddha and Rakshabandhad have already hit the theatre but the movies are struggling in their opening days for audience.

On Day 5, Laal Singh Chaddha failed to earn even Rs 50 crore. According to a report, The worst disaster for a Khan since Zero’, and said that the film was made between Rs 7.8 crore and Rs 8.4 crore on Monday. The movie has collected Rs 46 crore in 5 days.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chadda is the official remake of Forest Grump, which featured Tom Hanks. The Hindi adaptation features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in crucial roles. Even Before its release, the movie landed into controversy because of Aamir’s old controversial statements.
Meanwhile speaking about Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan's box office collection has been lagging behind Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which was released on the same day. In 5 days, Raksha Bandhan collected Rs 33.5 crore.
The film is made with an approximate budget of over Rs 70 crore. There was some hope that the film may pick pace during the extended weekend. However, on Monday, August 15, the film collected a mere Rs 6.5 crore.
Speaking about Rakshabandhan, The movie is directed by Aanand L Rai, Raksha Bandhan stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. It also features Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth and Deepika Khanna. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films and jointly written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.
