Leh: 9 new cases of corona infection were reported in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Thursday. While no patient lost life during this time. Active cases of infection in the Union Territory have now increased to 87. Officials said that out of the new cases registered on Thursday, 7 cases have been registered from Leh and 2 from Kargil.

Officials said four patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. The total number of corona cases in the Union Territory is 20,430. These include 87 active cases. Officials said that out of the total active cases, 67 cases are in Leh and 20 cases are in Kargil district. The corona infection in Ladakh has so far claimed 207 lives, including 149 deaths from Leh and 58 from the Kargil district. A total of 20,136 patients have recovered so far. Officials said that out of a total of 1,900 samples, 1,137 samples have been tested in Corona Test Leh and 763 in Kargil.

Meanwhile, a new study on coronavirus has emerged.
