As per today's situation, after onion in the retail markets of Delhi, the ladyfinger is also selling at more than Rs 100 per kg. On Monday, the price of ladyfinger was seen in Shahdara Mandi up to 100 rupees per kilo, while in Burari, ladyfinger was sold from 80 to 100 rupees per kilogram.

While in the online portal BigBasket on Monday, the price of ladyfinger was Rs 23. According to Ramakrishna, a vegetable trader in Shahdara Mandi, the price of ladyfinger has increased in the last 15 days, till then ladyfinger was getting 50 to 60 rupees per kg. The price of garlic remains at Rs 200 a kg. Regarding increase in okra  (lady finger) prices, wholesale traders say that okra is not produced in this season.

According to Kunal Batra, a ladyfinger trader in Azadpur mandi, the production of ladyfingers decreases in winter, hence the demand is also low, to meet the demand which is in the markets, ladyfinger is supplied from Surat at this time in Delhi. It has been in the market, okra is being sold from 30 to 35 rupees per kg. With the rise of cold in Delhi, the prices of other vegetables like onion and ladyfinger have also increased, which includes bitter gourd with cabbage, peas.
