Lakhimpur Kheri: Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son and named accused Ashish Mishra has been arrested on Saturday night after a lengthy interrogation in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Yes, Ashish Mishra was being questioned by a team of six people since 11 am under the information received. Ashish Mishra was questioned before a magistrate at the crime branch office in Lakhimpur yesterday. However, during interrogation, Ashish Mishra presented several videos in his favour.

He also submitted an affidavit of the statement of 10 persons who say that he was in Dangal Maidan and not with the convoy. After knowing all this, the police have arrested Ashish and he will now be produced before the court today. According to information received, Ashish Mishra, son of union minister of state for home affairs, who was named in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, was finally arrested at 10.50 pm on Saturday after a 12-hour long interrogation.

In fact, Upendra Agarwal, DIG, Special Supervision Committee constituted by the Government, came outside the crime branch office at the police line and confirmed the arrest. Let me tell you that yesterday, Along with Ashish Mishra, Lakhimpur Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma, Ajay Mishra, Teni representatives Arvind Singh Sanjay and Jitendra Singh Jitu Ashish Mishra alias Monu came to the police line office. According to sources, Ashish Mishra was asked about 32 questions in the locked room. In this interrogation, Ashish Mishra was repeatedly giving evidence that he was not at the spot. He presented several videos and affidavits to prove this.
