Lucknow: A postmortem report has been received of 8 people who died in Sunday's violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. The report revealed that someone died of shock and someone was caused by a brain haemorrhage. But the post-mortem report has not revealed the bullet. A postmortem of those who died in the violence was conducted on Monday.

What was the cause of death found in the postmortem report?

1. Lovepreet Singh (Farmer)
- Death due to dragging. Bruises were found on the body. Shock and haemorrhage cause death.

2. Gurwinder Singh (Farmer)
- Two injuries and dragging marks were found. Injury caused by sharp or pointed objects. Shock and haemorrhage cause death.

3. Daljit Singh (Farmer)
- Several dragging marks were found on the body. The reason for the death.

4. Chhatra Singh (Farmer)
- Shock, haemorrhage and coma before death. Dragging marks were also found on the body.

5. Shubham Mishra (BJP leader)
- Beating with sticks and rods. Bruises were found at more than a dozen places on the body, that's the reason for the death.

6. Hariom Mishra (Driver of Ajay Mishra)
- Beating with sticks and bats. Bruises were found in many places on the body. Shock and haemorrhage before death.

7. Shyam Sundar (BJP worker)
- Beating with sticks and rods. The dragging caused more than a dozen injuries.

8. Raman Kashyap (local journalist)
- Many marks of beating on the body. Death due to shock and haemorrhage.

45 lakh compensation to families of deceased

An agreement was relinquished between the administration and the farmers on Monday. It was decided on both sides that compensation of Rs 45-45 lakh would be given to the next of kin of the four farmers killed in the violence and a government job would be provided to a family member. 10 lakh will also be paid to those injured in the violence. In addition, the entire case will be investigated by a retired judge of the High Court.
