The case of The Rafiq aka Paggal murder case in Banwaripur village of Sadar Kotwali a year ago was revealed by the Sadar Kotwali police on Thursday and the son-in-law of the deceased had killed his father-in-law, Rafiq, according to the police.

According to reports, 55-year-old Rafik aka Paggal was hacked to death on the night of June 19, 18 in village Banwaripur, and Inspector-in-Charge Sadar Fateh Singh said that "Rafik used to guard the primary school in the village." While his son Imam Bux lived with his father, farming and wages.

No evidence was found, but during the investigation, the case was brought out of Asanai and the police arrested village Dinpurwa resident Imtiaz aka Baidu on Thursday.

When police questioned him strictly, he told the police that "Rafik's daughter-in-law Mary had a love affair with her. The woman's father-in-law Rafiq opposed it. So he planned to remove Rafik along with his girlfriend and murdered him in the same scheme," he said.
