Lucknow: Ashish Mishra alias Monu, the main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, is likely to be released from jail soon. According to sources, the order for the release of Ashish Mishra has reached Lakhimpur jail. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court had on Thursday granted bail to Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni.

After which, the process of verification of both the guarantors for the bail of Ashish Mishra has also been completed. According to information, Ashish Mishra is likely to be released from Lakhimpur jail by this evening. In the Lakhimpur violence case, Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni, has been granted bail by the Allahabad High Court. 

With Ashish Mishra getting bail in the election atmosphere, questions are now being raised whether it will benefit any party. Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in violence during the farmers' protest against the farm laws in the Tikonia Nighasan assembly constituency on October 3 last year. Ajay Mishra Teni's son Ashish was arrested as the main accused in the case.
