Lalati Ram, a colleague of freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose, passed away at the age of 98. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah have remembered him. PM Narendra Modi has condoled the passing away of Lalati Ram, a friend of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi said that great people like him leave an indelible mark in Indian history. On the passing away of 98-year-old Lalati Ram, who was part of the Azad Hind Fauj, Prime Minister Modi said that Lalati Ram's contribution to India's freedom struggle can never be forgotten. Lalati Ram was infected with corona and was undergoing treatment at PGI Rohtak.

 

 

Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "It was sad to hear of the passing away of Lalati Ram, who was part of the Azad Hind Fauj. His courage and contribution to India's freedom struggle will never be forgotten. I miss my meeting with him". 'Home Minister Amit Shah also remembered Lalati Ram. He wrote, "Lalati Ram ji will always be remembered for his service to the nation and dedication. As a strong pillar of INA with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, he fought for India's independence. Their struggle for life will always inspire us. May God give salvation to the departed soul. Om Shanti Shanti".

Let us tell you, 98-year-old Lalati Ram passed away on Sunday morning. He was considered close to Netaji SubhasH Chandra. He was felicitated by the Government of India in 2019. The honour was given for his role in the struggle for freedom.
