Lucknow: The relationship of the family of Kamalapati Tripathi, who was the CM of Uttar Pradesh, who is considered to be a trusted companion of the Gandhi family, is now ended with the Congress. Actually, Kamalapati Tripathi's great-grandson Laliteshpati Tripathi has left the party. Considered close to Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Lalitesh resigned from all party posts, saying that he was constantly being ignored by the party, due to which he has said goodbye to the Congress.
After leaving the Congress, there were speculations that Lalitesh would join the Samajwadi Party (SP), but he said that he has not thought of joining any party yet. At present, there are no plans to join any party. Lalitesh said that he will discuss with his people to determine the future strategy. It will be brainstormed after holding a meeting with its workers.
Let us tell you that before the 2022 assembly elections, the party has suffered a major setback in Purvanchal after Lalitesh Pati Tripathi quit Congress. He has been MLA from Mirzapur's Madihan assembly seat from 2012 to 2017. In 2019, Congress made him contest the Lok Sabha elections, but he could not win. He was serving the responsibility of UP Vice President from Congress but had resigned now.
