Patna: Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav granted parole of five days for son Tej Pratap Yadav's wedding. He is at present admitted in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi .

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted documents of around 20,000 pages in Delhi's Patiala House court in connection with IRCTC hotel scam case in which Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav and 11 others are accused.

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's payroll application has heard today by Ranchi Court. On Tuesday, the Birsa Munda Jail Administration of Ranchi has taken legal opinion from the Advocate General and after the meeting of jail IG and Jail Superintendent, the decision on Lalu's bail has decided.

The CBI submission of documents comes a month after the Probe agency questioned Lalu's wife Rabri Devi and his son Tejashwi. The alleged scam is a” quid pro quo Pact” in which the Yadav family received real estate bribe for giving contracts to a particular bidder. Apart from Lalu, Rabri and Tejashwi, 11 others stand accused in the scam.

Lalu Prasad is in serving out multiple sentences at Ranchi's Birsa Munda Central Prison for his convictions in cases in connection to Bihar's well-known fodder scam. However, he is at present lodged in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi, after a turn at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.
