Ranchi: RJD National President Lalu Prasad Yadav is on a visit to Palamu today. Lalu Yadav is staying in a room in the circuit house. On Tuesday, a fire broke out in a wall fan installed in the same room. At that time, Lalu Yadav was having breakfast at the dining table. As soon as the fire broke out, the servants immediately cut off the electricity of the room and removed the burning fan from there and pulled it out. Lalu Yadav was not present in the room when the incident took place.

Lalu Prasad Yadav has reached Palamu to appear before it in a case of violation of the election code of conduct. He will appear before the Palamu court on June 8. On Monday, Lalu reached The Chiyunki Airport by helicopter, from where he reached the Circuit House. Lalu Yadav stayed at the same circuit house at night. In the morning, he was having breakfast in the next room, when a wall fan of one of the rooms caught fire. As soon as the fire broke out, a situation of panic arose. The power was immediately cut off and the fan was pulled out.

Lalu Yadav was booked in 1995 in Garhwal of Bihar (present-day Jharkhand) in the wake of assembly elections. He is accused of violating the model code of conduct. It is being said that an election meeting was held at Govind High School in Garhwa, in which Lalu Yadav arrived by helicopter. Lalu had landed the helicopter in a field away from the place earmarked for landing. He was sued in this case. Earlier, when Lalu Prasad Yadav reached Palamu, his attendant Asgar manhandled a senior Palamu official. Due to this, the servant also tried to grab the collar of the officer. The entire incident took place at Chianki Airport in Palamu, but the officer has denied the pushing that took place with him on the matter.
