Ranchi: RJD supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was convicted in the fodder scam, are gradually improving. Now they can be shifted to Birsa Munda Central Kara Hotwar at any time. Jail Superintendent Ashok Kumar Chaudhary said lalu Prasad will be shifted to jail if everything came back to normal in the doctor's report. We are waiting for positive reports to shift them to jail. We have not received the doctor's report so far.
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav (71) has been admitted to the Paying Ward of Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) in Ranchi for nearly a year and a half. He is undergoing treatment for 11 diseases related to sugar, kidney, high blood pressure, liver and kidney, under the supervision of Dr. Umesh Prasad and Dr. D.K. Jha. Lalu Prasad's condition during treatment at rims is now being fully improved. 42 policemen have also been deployed to protect Lalu.
After being convicted in various cases of fodder scam, Lalu Prasad Yadav has spent 17 months in hospital out of 19 months in jail and his health is still not fully recovered. He has been in jail since December 23, 2017. His health had deteriorated just two months after he went to prison. Lalu was first admitted to rims and then sent to Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Science (AMS) for better treatment.
