Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav is likely to come to Patna soon. It is reported that Lalu may soon come to Patna and take the lead after opponents after Tej Pratap Yadav's statement. He is also likely to campaign in both the seats for the Bihar assembly bypoll.

Preparations have reportedly been intensified to summon Lalu to Patna following Tejapatap's hostage statement. There are reports that a special room is being prepared for them at Rabri Residence at 10 Circular Road. It is being reported that this room with medical facilities is being constructed for Lalu Prasad who is ill. Lalu Prasad can participate in the Kalash Puja to be held at Rabri Residence on the occasion of Navratri. Earlier, there was talk of Lalu Prasad visiting Patna on the occasion of the first anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan. At that time, there were reports that he could come to Patna to give an edge to a new alliance being formed in Bihar.

In fact, Chirag Paswan had met Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Prasad to invite his father's anniversary programme. After meeting the two leaders, a new political equation was beginning to buzz in Bihar and there was talk of Tejashwi-Chirag coming on a platform. But Lalu Prasad refused to come to Patna for health reasons.
