Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Yadav has reached Hajipur court for his appearance on Friday. Let us inform that Lalu has reached here to appear in a case related to violation of model code of conduct due to the assembly elections held in 2015. It is being said that the hearing of the case will start in a while. In September 2015, Lalu Yadav addressed an election meeting in Raghopur due to the Bihar assembly elections.

It is alleged that due to this he had used casteist words. After the address of the election meeting, the then Sadar Circle Inspector had filed a case of violation of the code of conduct on the basis of video footage at Ganga Bridge police station. Let us tell you that on June 8 last week, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav was released in the case of violation of the code of conduct due to the 2009 assembly elections. However, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 on him. The former CM of Bihar had appeared in the special MP, MLA court in Palamu in connection with this matter.

Let us tell you that due to Jharkhand Assembly Elections-2009, Lalu Prasad Yadav had arrived by helicopter in the campaign of RJD candidate Girinath Singh from Garhwa assembly area. Lalu's meeting was to be held at Govind High School in Garhwa. Helipad was fixed at Kalyanpur in Garhwa block for landing the helicopter. The administration had given permission for this. But instead of landing on the designated helipad, the helicopter landed at the meeting place on the grounds of Govind High School. This caused an uproar.
