Lalu's daughter Rohini has donated a kidney to him. Both are healthy now.

In fact, on Monday afternoon, Lalu's second daughter Rohini Acharya donated one of her kidneys to her father at a hospital in Singapore. Lalu was kept in the ICU after the successful operation of Lalu and Rohini and according to the news, Lalu has regained consciousness a while ago. Lalu's elder daughter Misa Bharti has shared some photos on social media and told that her father had regained consciousness a while ago and she also went to his room to meet him for a while. Tejashwi Yadav, former CM Rabri Devi, and elder daughter Misa Bharti are present in Singapore. Not only this, Lalu's close aide Bhola Yadav and Tejashwi's political advisor Sanjay Yadav are also in Singapore.

Misa Bharti wrote on Facebook, "I got permission to meet papa for a while in ICU. Everyone in the family was worried about dad and Rohini, so meeting father after the operation was a very emotional moment. He first asked about Rohini's health. Then he started remembering old things while speaking. Dad was smiling softly. This quality of forgetting the pain and focusing on positive things separates them from all of us, this always keeps him cheerful and lively. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Lalu's younger son Tejashwi Yadav also tweeted the video. In his tweet, he wrote, "Papa was shifted from the operation theater to ICU after the kidney transplant operation was successful. Elder sister Rohini Acharya and the national president are both healthy. Thank you for your prayers and blessings."
