Lalu Yadav to go Delhi AIIMS after facing health issues

Ranchi: All preparations have been made to take the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav from Ranchi to Delhi AIIMS for better treatment. He will be taken to the national capital by air ambulance at 5 pm. After the decision of the Rimes Medical Board, all preparations were made to take Lalu to Delhi.

"Lalu Yadav was having some breathing problems for two days after which he was examined on Friday and confirmed pneumonia," Dr Kameshwar Prasad, director, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) informed. In view of their age, we have decided to transfer him to Delhi AIIMS for better treatment and he is likely to be sent to AIIMS today itself. We have had a dialogue with the experts at AIIMS.

Dr Prasad further said, "The administration and Yadav's kin are arranging air ambulances to take him to AIIMS and Lalu Prasad Yadav will be sent to AIIMS as soon as it is arranged. Meanwhile, on the advice of the jail administration, RIMS has constituted a medical board of eight different specialist doctors who are examining Lalu's health. On the report of the Board, he is being rushed to AIIMS.
