Kosovo is a controversial country located in the Balkan region. By the way, it is a self-proclaimed republic, which has been recognized as an independent nation by more than 100 countries of the world. It includes many big countries from America to Britain and Europe, but many countries like Serbia, Russia, China, Spain, Greece and Bosnia do not consider Kosovo as an independent country. The case also went to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, but the court, while ruling in favor of Kosovo itself, said that Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia was not a violation of international law.

Please tell that Kosovo is a landlocked country, in the north and east of which Serbia is located, from which it has become independent. Kosovo was once the center of the Serbian Empire, but was lost by Serbia after its defeat in 1398 to the Ottomans. However, Serbia again took control of Kosovo in the 20th century. Kosovo, spread over an area of 10,887 square kilometers, is the smallest of all countries in the entire Balkan region. This is followed by Jamaica and Lebanon. Majority of the population of this country is Muslim and most of the people are living in the poverty line.

For information, let us know that about 40 percent of Kosovo is surrounded by forests, which mostly consists of oak and pine trees. Oak is also called Banj or Baloot or Chestnut. Although this tree grows slowly, but it lasts for 200-300 years. At the same time, there are trees, which stand upright on the earth. They can be from three to 80 meters long. They have more than 100 species all over the world. If you are living in Kosovo and are not citizens there, then your child born also cannot get citizenship there. Children get citizenship of this country only when one of the mothers or fathers is a citizen of Kosovo.
