Mumbai: Larsen & Turbo ie L&T has got a big contract to build Mumbai International Airport. The company has given information about this on Tuesday i.e. Tuesday. The company has considerable experience in the infrastructure sector. It is considered a giant in this field. L&T has not mentioned the value of the contract but said it falls in the category of 'big' contracts. Such contracts cost between Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 7,000 crore.
L&T informed the stock market that, 'Transport infrastructure and building and factory business of L&T's construction arm got the contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of Navi Mumbai International Airport from Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (NMIAPL). '
L&T said that initially the passenger terminal building would have an annual capacity of 10 million passengers. Later it will be increased to two crores. Let us know that Mumbai is known as the economic capital of the country. Mumbar is one of the largest cities in the country. In view of heavy air traffic, the government has decided to build another international airport.
