On the other hand, District Collector Sandeep Kadam says that 'The achievement has been achieved due to the joint efforts of the employees of the district administration, health department and implementing the policy of tracing, testing, and treatment.'

At the same time, on April 12 this year, the maximum number of 1,596 new cases were reported in the district. It is being told that the district had the highest number of 12,847 active patients on 18 April and the first death due to coronavirus was reported in the district on 12 July 2020. At the same time, on May 1 this year, the maximum number of deaths of 35 people was recorded in the district. It is being told that so far some 1,133 patients have died of corona in the district. On the other hand, in a press note issued by District Collector Sandeep Kadam, it is written that after 12,847 active patients arrived on 18th April this year, the number of patients recovering continued to increase rapidly. The maximum number of 1,568 patients was discharged on 22 April.

Now talking about the recovery rate, it is further said in the press note, 'On April 19, the recovery rate had come down to 62.58. But now it has increased to 98.11.' At the same time, on April 12, the positivity rate was the highest at 55.73 percent, which has now come down to 0. The death rate in the district is 1.89 percent. Apart from this, it has also been said that so far 4,49,832 corona tests have been conducted in the district. Of these, 59,809 samples have been found positive. Of the positive patients, 58,776 have been cured.
