According to the rule currently made, QR codes will be required in all the major parts of the vehicles to be manufactured after October and the Union Road Transport Ministry will issue instructions to all vehicle manufacturers in September. Vehicle manufacturers will then have to provide a QR code on all parts of each new vehicle that will be manufactured from October, and the code will not be visible in general and can only be viewed with ultra-violet rays so that the vehicle can be identified with the owner. However, if parts of a vehicle were stolen and installed in another vehicle, the theft would be caught with the help of the same. Let's know the full details

According to media reports, the move by the government will prevent theft of parts of vehicles and theft of more than 2.5 lakh vehicles in the country every year. About half of these vehicles are removed and installed in other vehicles. Parts other than vehicle engines and chassis cannot be identified because only these parts are numbered. These days, vehicles with stolen parts run from small to big cities. Manufacturers will print QR codes on expensive parts of vehicles and the code will enter the engine and chassis number. The vehicle owner as well as the chassis and engine number are recorded while registering after the sale of the vehicles.

If the police officer and transport suspect theft on parts of a vehicle, ultraviolet rays will be able to scan the bar code and check the parts of the vehicle. The scan will also bring in the vehicle's chassis and engine number and the vehicle owner can be easily tracked by entering the vehicle software of the Transport Department.
