Triumph, a British premium bike manufacturer, has launched its Tiger 900. The new Tiger will be released in two variants, Rally and GT and will be introduced in the Indian market by mid-2020. These models can be positioned above the current 800 cc tiger. Apart from this, the company can offer a 900 cc mill engine that will come with the same in-line triple configuration as found in the Tiger 800 model. It can be introduced in the Indian market on 3 December.

The current Tiger 800 has a power of 95 PS and 79 Nm. Apart from this, with the new motor, it will now power 110 PS. It will give a tough competition to the Ducati Multistrada 950 after its arrival in the Indian market. The new Tiger of Triumph can also be given IMU-based cornering traction control and cornering ABS with different riding modes. Apart from this, a new bolt-on subframe can also be provided with other updates, which can be replaced at the time of the accident. With this, the company will also offer new swingarms and tubeless tires with laced wheels. At present, rough tires can be given for company off-road grip in rally variants.

In the Indian market, the price of Tiger 900 GT can be around 1 lakh rupees more than the current Toger 800 XRx. It costs Rs 13.39 lakh. Apart from this, the price of the Tiger 900 rally may be around Rs 1 lakh more than the Tiger 800 XCa (price Rs 15.17 lakh).
