IPL 2018: SRH management create positivity, says Rashid Khan

On Tuesday, in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 battle of two heavyweight of the league. Former champion Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) comeback to winning ways, after defeating defending champion Mumbai Indians (MI) by 31 runs. Afghanistani leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who represent Sunrisers Hyderabad and bounce back strongly after getting hammered in the past couple of games. Rashid picked up a couple of wickets in his spell of four overs and considered just 11 runs, that turned things in SRH’s favour against Mumbai Indians. Speaking after receiving the Man of the Match award yesterday, leg-spinner Rashid Khan spoke about how the likes of Tom Moody, VVS Laxman and Muttiah Muralitharan have kept a the morale of the team high despite losses.

Leg-spinner Rashid told: “When SRH win or lose, the management has always kept us in good positive space.” Rashid also spoke about his own bowling, he said: “It feels quite good and comeback after a loss. We get to learn a lot of things from the coaching staff. They keep motivating me. They ask me to stay relaxed and that’s what brings the best out of me. Whatever you do, you have to stay relaxed and stick to your basics.” Former Champion Sunrisers Hyderabad now move to third place in the IPL points table, while Mumbai Indians are on the bottom of the table.
