Latur: For the people of Sagli and Kolhapur who have lost everything in nature's beatings, the people of Latur district of Maharashtra have come forward. Food, snacks, water bottles, clothes, biscuit packets have been sent from Latur to flood-hit areas. In 2016, water was transported from Sangli and Kolhapur to Latur after which the latur people are now sending food to the flood in both the districts.

Water was sent to Latur by train as part of a government decision to quench people's thirst in times of trouble. The water that was brought to Latur was filled with Sangli, Kolhapur. The people of Latur are busy helping the people of Kolhapur and Sangli who are stranded in the flood. These people say that there was a natural calamity in Latur at that time and there was a water shortage.

At present, flooding in Kolhapur, Sangli, is also a natural calamity. At that time, these people helped us. We also need to help people come forward at this time. Packet of food for 5000 people has been sent to Kolhapur and Sangli from Udgir area of Latur. The package is whole, vegetable and pickle.
