New Delhi: Infinix has introduced two entry-level smartphones named HOT 20 Play and HOT 20 5G in India.

The price of the former is Rs. 8,999, and it will be available for purchase starting December 6 via Flipkart.

The latter cost Rs. 11,999. Both the phones come with MediaTek chipset, single 4GB/64GB configuration and 3GB of virtual RAM.

Hong Kong's Infinix company wants to increase its presence in the Indian market for low-cost smartphones. The latest phones have reasonable prices and good features like long battery life, virtual RAM, and screens with high refresh rates.

While the Hot 20 5G model features dual stereo speakers, the Hot 20 Play features DTS audio support.

The HOT 20 5G features a waterdrop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint reader, while the Infinix HOT 20 Play features a punch-hole cutout and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

A 6.82-inch HD + (720x1640 pixels) LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate comes with the Play model. The 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD screen on the 5G model has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The 13MP dual rear camera module on the Infinix HOT 20 Play also houses a quad-LED flash. The HOT 20 5G sports a 50MP (f/1.6) primary camera, an unknown depth sensor, and dual-LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front of both the phones.

The Infinix HOT 20 Play is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, while the Infinix HOT 20 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 processor. Both have 18W charging support, with the former housing a 6,000mAh battery and the latter a 5,000mAh battery.

The gadgets come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and run Android 12. There are three different ways to connect: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price of Rs. 8,999, the Infinix Hot 20 Play will be available on Flipkart from December 6. It is available in Aurora Green, Fantasy Purple, Racing Black and Luna Blue colours.

Price of Rs. Infinix HOT 20 5G has been introduced in Blaster Green, Space Blue and Racing Black colors for Rs 11,999. Its availability information has not been made public yet.
