The Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 have been updated by TVS and released in the Indian market. The price of the Apache RTR 160 ranges from $1.17 to $1.24 lakh, and there is just one type of the Apache RTR 180 available (ex-showroom). While the weight of both has decreased, the power has increased significantly.

The 159.7 cc engine in the TVS Apache RTR 160 now generates 13.85 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm and 16.04 PS of maximum power at 8,750 rpm. It is connected to a 5-speed transmission. Although the power may have gone up from 15.53 PS, the output of torque has gone down from 13.9 Nm.

The Drum and Disc varieties of the Apache RTR 160 are still available. TVS was able to reduce the weight of the Apache 160 by 2 kg. As a result, the disc variant weighs 138 kg, while the drum variant is now 137 kg.

The 177.4 cc, the oil-cooled engine of the TVS Apache RTR 180 generates 15.5 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm and 17.02 PS of maximum power at 9000 rpm. Also connected to it is a 5-speed transmission. The torque output was the same at 15.5 Nm as it was in the RTR 180's previous iteration, which produced 16.79 Ps. The RTR 180 now weighs 140 kgs thanks to TVS's ability to reduce its weight by 1 kg.

Both motorcycles now have new LED headlights and taillights, among other modifications. The digital instrument cluster features three riding modes and Bluetooth connectivity. The three riding modes—Sport, Urban, and Rain—change the ABS setting and engine power output.

The bodywork's visuals have also been modified. Voice assistance, an X-ring chain, a bigger 120mm rear tyre, a gear position indicator, and a revised user interface for the TVS Connect app are all included.
