New Delhi: The TV Stick 4K has been formally introduced by Xiaomi in India. The cost of the item is Rs. 4,999. Beginning on February 20, it will only be available via the company's official website in the nation.
Among its highlights are support for 4K resolution, Dolby technology, integrated Patchwall software, and Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity standards.
The proliferation of 4K TVs has increased people's desire to watch content in that resolution to an all-time high. 4K is becoming the preferred platform resolution among users.

Brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Amazon, and Roku are making it easier for consumers to convert their standard televisions into smart TVs by releasing 4K streaming sticks that are jam-packed with content.
The Mi Remote that comes with the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K has shortcuts for OTT services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hostar and has a dongle-like design. A Google Assistant button for voice searches is also added to the remote.
The stick supports Dolby Atmos/DTS HD audio, Dolby Vision, and 4K video output. It has a Chromecast built in. It is 15.4mm thick and weighs 42.8g in terms of dimensions.
A micro-USB power port and an HDMI port are included on the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. It has Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5. The stick has video decoders for AV1, VP9, H.265, H.264, MPEG-2, and MPEG-1. There are image decoders for JPG, BMP, GIF, and PNG files.
The quad-core Cortex A35 processor and ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU are found inside the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
It starts the Android TV 11 OS-based Patchwall software.
MKV, MPG, MPEG, DAT, AVI, MOV, ISO, MP4, and RM are among the video formats that are supported. The compatible audio formats include MP3, AAC, RM, and FLAC.
In India, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K is available for Rs. 4,999. Beginning on February 20, it will be for sale. The company's official Mi e-store will be the only place to purchase the streaming stick.
