Indian smartphone brand Lava is all set to launch the latest addition to its popular mid-range Agni series—the Lava Agni 3—on October 4. While Lava has kept most details under wraps, leaks have provided us with a glimpse of what this upcoming smartphone might offer. The new device is expected to come equipped with Dolby ATMOS speakers and cameras featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Lava Agni 3 Features: What We Know So Far

A teaser video released by Lava shows the Agni 3 sporting a sleek design with curved edges and a rectangular camera module on the back. One exciting rumor suggests that the phone may have a customizable button, similar to the "Action Button" found on the iPhone 16 series. Another standout feature could be a secondary display on the back, similar to what we saw on the Xiaomi 11 Ultra.

Display and Processor Details

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Agni 3 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Under the hood, the phone is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, the same chipset found in the CMF Phone 1 and Motorola Edge 50 Neo. The device is likely to offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, although details on the RAM and storage type remain unconfirmed.

Camera and Software

On the camera front, the Lava Agni 3 is expected to sport a quad-camera setup. This could include a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor, offering versatile photography options.

The phone will reportedly run on Lava's custom UI, which is close to stock Android, based on the latest Android 14. This software approach aims to provide users with a clean and smooth Android experience.

Battery and Charging

Powering the device is expected to be a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 66W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge and get back to using their phone without long wait times.

As we await the official announcement, the Lava Agni 3 is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market, with its impressive display, camera, and battery features.
