RB Leipzig Football Club, playing again in the UEFA Champions League, defeated Spain's legendary club Atlético Madrid by 2–1, making their place in the semi-finals of the league for the first time. But, in the second half, Germany's football club has continued to look for a goal towards a comeback. In the twenty-fifth minute, Danny Olmo scored for Leipzig to lead it by one-zero. Aspiring for the draw, Atletico fielded Portugal's Jão Felix in the match and scored a goal in the 71st minute to level the score. After which Taylor Adams scored a goal in the 88th minute to get Leipzig to make a goal.
In the semi-finals, Leipzig will face Paris Saint Germain. The semi-finals are to be played on August 18.
